Sheets or coils: how to describe your requirements
A grade may be supplied in different forms. Begin with the form you need, then specify dimensions and processing requirements.
When you need sheets
Record thickness, width, length and quantity unit. Include any tolerances, edge condition or packing requirements.
When you need coils
Record thickness, width and total quantity. List any requirements for individual coil weight, inner diameter, packing or coil splitting separately.
Confirm processing separately
State any cut-to-length, slitting or other processing requirements. Availability and terms need separate confirmation.
